One of my favorite books is "The Word Museum," by Jeffrey Kacirk. There are some incredible words that we have forgotten over time. I would love to use blutterbunged in a sentence, but no one would know what I was talking about. It means to confound, overcome by surprise. Or take fubbery for instance, it means deceit. Don't you just love those words? They just tickle my tongue.

I was reading the book, "Writing the Great American Romance Novel," by Catherine Lanigan--- after all, there should be romance in every novel, don't you think--- and came across this amazing piece of advice:
"Taking the ordinary meeting and creating that haunting moment that stays in the reader's mind for weeks, and hopefully forever, is where the magic of your talent is revealed."
That says it all!
